International Management program succeeded in Financial Times Ranking

The Financial Times has published its annual Master in Management Ranking 2019, in which the International Management program taught at the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) took 18th place. Compared to last year, the program moved four places up and became the best-rated program in Central and Eastern Europe. CEMS Global Alliance, of which VŠE has been a member for over 20 years, moved from 9th to 8th place.

“It was confirmed that our last year’s phenomenal success at the very top of universities all over the world was not just a coincidence,” said the Dean of FBA Prof. Ivan Nový. “I think this achievement is a clear proof that the Czech university education does not have to be ashamed of anything, at least in the field of economic and managerial education,” he added.

“The ranking has surpassed my expectations. The International Management, which includes CEMS program, has been accredited since 2008 and taught by professors from the Faculty of Business Administration as well as experts from others faculties. I would like to express my gratitude to corporate partners for supporting our membership in the international alliance CEMS. I am also happy that 13 our partner universities were placed among TOP 20,” commented the success the Rector of VŠE Prof. Hana Machková.

The Financial Times Ranking focuses mainly on three aspects: alumni carrier progress, school diversity, international experience and research.
