Assessment of previous education attained abroad is more simple now at the University of Economics, Prague
The app by the University of Economics, Prague (VŠE) has been launched on April 15, 2019 and is available for applicants of all Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes. The University of Economics, Prague can assess its applicants’ previous education on their own since the University received Institutional Accreditation from the National Accreditation Bureau for Higher Education in 2018.
Assessment of applicants’ previous education received abroad is administered by the VŠE’s Legal Department and the app for submission of the Request for recognition of education abroad for the purpose of the admission procedure at VŠE is available at http://edu.vse.cz/.
It is significantly more simple for applicants as a previously required proof of General Recognition of the Equivalence or Validity of Foreign Education in the Czech Republic (the so-called nostrification clause) is needed only if the University of Economics, Prague expresses doubts about a level, scope or content of previous foreign education of an applicant and asks the applicant to prove his/her education by submitting a nostrification clause.
All information about the admission procedure can be found on the website for applicants admissions.vse.cz/.
